We believe…
We believe in one God, creator of all things, who is all-knowing, all-powerful, and perfectly good. God mysteriously exists forever in three persons— God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. God loves us and desires to be in a relationship with us.
We believe that sin is a problem— for us and for God. Sin is rebellion against God’s authority in our life, which is something of which everyone is guilty. Sin breaks our relationship with God. The only way for the relationship to be repaired is for sin to be removed, which we cannot do on our own.
We believe Jesus, who is eternally God, also became fully human through a miraculous birth. He lived a perfect life, died an innocent death, and rose victoriously from the grave. In this way, Jesus paid the penalty for sin and defeated the power of sin to bring eternal life to all who believe in Him.
We believe eternal life is a gift from God available to all who believe in Jesus as Savior and Lord. Those who believe in Jesus in this life will enjoy eternity in His presence. Those who reject Jesus in this life will be separated from Him forever in hell.
We believe the Holy Spirit, who is eternally God, indwells followers of Jesus at the point of salvation. The Holy Spirit enables people to become more like Jesus and bring more people to Jesus.
We believe the Bible was written, without error by human authors who were perfectly inspired by God. Therefore, the Bible has authority in matters of life and doctrine. The Bible tells one consistent story of God’s plan to redeem the world through Jesus.
We believe the church is a community of people centered around Jesus, committed to each other, and called to make disciples of Jesus in relationships. The Church is God’s chosen means to bring the Good News of Jesus to our lost and broken world.
What we do...
We gather every Sunday to encounter God, encourage one another, and be equipped to carry out the mission of making disciples of Jesus in relationships.
We participate in the Lord’s Supper each week, as Jesus instituted the night before his crucifixion and as the early church was instructed in 1 Corinthians 11:23-27. This weekly practice is to remind those who belong to Jesus of what their salvation cost Jesus and what His sacrifice deserves from them.
We baptize people into Christ as a public expression of their commitment to Jesus as Savior and Lord. This act is a symbolic identification with the death and resurrection of Jesus.
Good News
