June Picnic & Baptisms
It’s our tradition to start our summer with baptisms down in Narragansett Bay. Sunday’s message was all about baptism and why it’s an essential part of what we do here at BridgePointe. We started the day with 16 people planning to be baptized, and as we made space for people to respond to what the Spirit was doing in them, we had an additional 15 people take the step of baptism, declaring their commitment to live with Jesus as King. Celebrate with us by viewing each person’s photo and baptism story, and join us in praying for God to continue the good work He has started in each life.
Meet our new Worship Arts Director: Amber Bennett
We have been praying over the last few months that God would provide the right person to lead our worship ministry as Rachel steps away from her role of leadership. We are grateful and excited to share that God has answered our prayers.
Child Dedication - May 18
On Sunday, May 18, we celebrated the commitment of four families to raise their children to know and love Jesus. It’s a special moment in their families, and for all of us in our BP Family as well. Celebrate with us and pray for these parents and their children!
Worship Arts Leadership Transition
After a decade of faithful leadership, Rachel is stepping away from her role as BridgePointe’s Worship Arts Director. Since the church’s founding in 2013, Rachel has served in various roles, growing from a volunteer to a full-time staff member leading the worship ministry. With increasing demands in both ministry and family life, she has prayerfully decided to step away from this position to enter a season of rest and focus on her family. Her final Sunday will be June 29, when the church will honor her service with a special time of gratitude and prayer.
Baptism Stories - Destyn & Trent
Two people were baptized Sunday, April 27, at the end of the third service, surrendering their lives to Jesus and committing to live with Him as King. Read their baptism stories in their own words.
Meet our new Spiritual Formation Director: Josh Knight
For almost three months, we have been exploring and interviewing a lead candidate for BridgePointe’s open spiritual formation director position. It is with joy and gratitude that we share how God has answered our prayers and met our need.
BP Kids Update
BP Kids classrooms have been refreshed and reconfigured. We moved a mountain to create a new classroom and now we need your help to open it up on Sundays.
Shepherd Appointment
At the end of services on March 2, we appointed two new shepherds, Ezekiel Payne and Nick Pelletier to BridgePointe’s shepherd team. Check out photos and a video clip from the service.
